Stanwell’s standing offer plan is not readily available to small customers in any particular location, the standing offer plan is available only in limited circumstances. Stanwell has published the standing offer plan to satisfy Stanwell’s obligations under the National Energy Retail Law and National Energy Retail Rules. A Basic Plan Information Document (BPID) is available for this standing offer plan on request. A BPID is an information sheet that contains all of the key details about a plan.

That is why it has developed a Hardship Policy for the benefit of all residential customers living in New South Wales, Queensland and the Australian Capital Territory, who find it hard to pay their energy bills due to hardship.

CUSTOMER HARDSHIP POLICY

Stanwell Energy is committed to responding to its customer’s needs and resolving any concerns or complaints in a timely and effective manner. In order for it to respond appropriately, complaints need to be properly recorded, assessed and resolved in accordance with its Complaints and Dispute Resolution Policy.

COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION POLICY

Stanwell Energy is committed to giving small customers who may be affected by family violence an entitlement to safe, supportive and flexible assistance when managing their personal and financial security. This policy applies to all Stanwell Energy small customers affected by family and domestic violence.
